    Here is a Vegan mushroom Pot Pie recipe for Thanksgiving Christmas or any holiday or event. Another Vagrant Vegan Show Recipe.
    recipe as follows:
    crust:
    2 cups flour
    1 TBSP sugar
    1 Tbsp salt
    1 cup Vegan butter
    1/2 cup cold water

    to make the filling you will need a white sauce here is how I made it
    2 tbsp coconut oil
    1 1/2 cups flour
    4 cups of the water is saved from cooking the vegetables (this makes all the flavour)
    then simmer and stir until thickened,

    Then you add your cooked and drained vegetables
    1 cup cooked or canned peas
    2 cups cooked root veg (carrots and rutebega)
    2 cups cooked Chaterelles or any mushroom
    place mixture back on heat until desired thickness is acheived

    scoop into pie crust, place top on the pie and cut vent holes
    bake at 350 for 30 mins or until golden brown.
    enjoy your holiday dinner!
