Stollen cookies are inspired by the famous German Christmas cake called Stollen, but they’re much easier to make.

Ingredients for about 30 pieces:

100 g room temperate butter
250 g fresh cheese (ricotta)
70 g raisins
50 g roasted almonds
50 g chocolate marzipan bar
50 g sugar
300 g all-purpose flour
10 g baking powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
¼ tsp clove powder
¼ tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla sugar
50 ml Marsala wine
Zest of 1 lemon
1 pinch of salt

For the topping:
100 g butter
100 g powdered sugar
